The processes that shape the institutions, policies and standards of the Internet and the digital environment are constantly evolving. New problems emerge that require multidimensional approaches for their intervention.
The current context presents challenges that can cause an upheaval of these processes and a change in the generalized perceptions about the externalities produced by the advance of the Internet in the last five decades.
This is the third edition of a program with a focus on the from socio-institutional, technical and legal perspectives for professionals (from the public and private sectors) of Latin America and civil society actors who wish to consolidate their conceptual background and nurture their knowledge with regional cases and examples. It is also oriented at postgraduate students looking for an accredited educational program.
About the program
The program addresses a series of topics that are at the core on the future agenda of the Internet: the technical and political implications of the Internet and digita infrastructure; the global ecosystem of Internet governance; the governance of cybersecurity; approaches; ethics, self-regulation and other governance approaches; competition in digital markets; Governance challenges in IoT and Artificial Intelligence, among others.
The program is concentrated and regional. This allows for an intensive immersion to encourage interaction with peers from other nationalities and organizations, while also taking advantage of the dialogue with national and international professors and experts invited from prestigious universities and organizations.
