New problems emerge that require multidimensional approaches for their intervention.<\/p>\n<p>The current context presents challenges that can cause an upheaval of these processes and a change in the generalized perceptions about the externalities produced by the advance of the Internet in the last five decades.<\/p>\n<p>This is the third edition of a program with a\u00a0 focus on the from socio-institutional, technical and legal perspectives for professionals (from the public and private sectors) of Latin America and civil society actors who wish to consolidate their conceptual background and nurture their knowledge with regional cases and examples. It is also oriented at postgraduate students looking for an accredited educational program.<\/p>\n<h2>About the program<\/h2>\n<p>The Diploma in Internet Governance is a regional academic programme that addresses the processes that shape technologies, institutions, policies and standards of the Internet and the digital environment. As these are undergoing major changes, political, technical, economic and ethical challenges, among others, are emerging for which it is essential to develop multidimensional approaches that allow for systemic and in-depth interventions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Who participates in this program?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DiGI students work in a variety of settings in the public, private and academic sectors and in national and international civil society organizations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Why should I participate?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The DiGI is a space for those who are looking for an accredited place for postgraduate training as well as a place to meet and strengthen personal networks. DiGI encourages interaction with peers from other nationalities, organisations and sectors. At the same time, it stimulates a dialogue with national and international professors and experts from prestigious universities and organizations on Internet governance issues.
